The global broadcasting and cable TV market is growing at an accelerated pace with an estimated value of $272 billion and it’s expected to grow by 26% to $342.6 billion in 2011. The main sources of revenue are advertising, air-times sales, pre-post media production services and public funds (either from TV licenses, general taxation or donation).

TAGTV is positioning its offerings to capture a slice of this huge and growing market and it will kick off its operation in Nigeria; one of the most populous nation in Africa by broadcasting to over 2 million viewers who are currently subscribed with our satellite service provider. We are looking to penetrate the entire Africa continent within two years of operation and then expand globally thereafter.

Programs are sourced both locally and internationally so that the TAGTV Channel can provide the best balance of programs to meet all age groups and interests. Based on positive and uplifting values.

The TAGTV Channel will be launched in Nigeria by September 2009 an Eutelstat satellite and will be available on most major pay TV network in Nigeria and free. To be available to a quarter of a million of home viewership with the target of over 2.2 million people in the next 12months.
